The Cumberland Valley School of Gospel Music is in its 31st year of teaching the art of singing and playing gospel music. The school meets during the last two full weeks in June every year to study gospel music. We are proud to continue the tradition of convention style singing and shape note music reading. Our goal is for you to enjoy singing and playing gospel music and take that love back to your home church. Our 31st session of the Cumberland Valley School of Gospel Music will be held at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, TN. The two week session will begin on Sunday, June 16th. Space is limited so register today!

The 2012 Session
Last year, two special groups made their way to CVSGM. The award winning Lefevre Quartet came and sang a short concert for the students.
Another special guest made an appearance at CVSGM last 
year, amazing bass singer Gene McDonald! Mr. McDonald sang a bass solo on the track "Jesus Paid It All" recorded during the 2012 Session. For a copy of this recording prodced by the CVSGM students during the 2012 school, select the Recordings link.
Hear The Cumberland Valley Quartet!
The Cumberland Valley Quartet will be singing at Rocky Mound Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, July 9th after Morning Worship (at 11am) and food in the Fellowship Hall.

The CD featuring the recordings made during the 2012 session of CVSGM are still available! Twelve tracks are from the 2012 Let's Go songbook and four are from the 2013 book entitled Carry On. The special bonus track featuring Gene McDonald with the CVSGM students, Jesus Paid It All, is included on this CD.
